Objective
The purpose of this article is to provide an introduction to Outreach Users regarding the Accounts List View in the Outreach Platform.
Users store information about customers in Outreach using Accounts and Prospects. Accounts can best be described as companies, and Prospects are those who work for said companies.
Accounts in Outreach allow Users to connect and view data for all Prospects associated with a specific account. Once Prospects are added to an Account, Users can view data-driven insights alongside open and historical Prospect tasks, emails, calls, sequences, and activity.

Before You Begin
- This article provides introductory information to Outreach Users regarding the various features and settings available in the Outreach Platform. Some settings and features may require additional steps for configuration. For more information regarding some of these topics, refer to the Additional Resources section of this article.
Procedures
Accessing Accounts
- Access the Outreach Platform.
- Click Accounts.
Outreach organizes Accounts into a List View - a column-based view that provides Users several options to sort and filter, and display Accounts.

The Accounts List View is separated into the following columns:
- Name
- Tags
- Sequences
- Emails
- Status
- Owner
Each column houses information specific to the Account.
Name
This is the Account Name given by the Owner when the Account was imported or added to Outreach.
Outreach displays the number of Prospects within an Account below the Account Name in the Name column.
Click the Account name to navigate to the Account Profile.

Note: Click the Accounts heading in the Outreach Platform to return to the Accounts List View.
Tags
The Tags column displays Tags given by the Owner of the Account.
- Users can click a Tag to display only Accounts that contain that specific Tag.
- For more information regarding tags, refer to the How To Add Tags to Outreach Records article.
Sequences
The Sequence column displays how many Prospects, if any, from the corresponding Account are active or inactive in a Sequence.
- Hovering over the Inactive status in the Sequence column displays additional information regarding the inactive status.
- Users can click a Sequence status to navigate to the Sequence the Account is being processed through.

Emails
The email column displays the Email activity a particular account has received over the course of 12 months.
- Hover over the Email graph to display a more detailed summary of email activity.

Note: Click the Accounts heading in the Outreach Platform to return to the Accounts List View.
Status
The Status column displays status information for Tasks, Opportunities, and CRM-Association if applicable.
- Users can click an icon to navigate to the corresponding landing page.

Note: Click the Accounts heading in the Outreach Platform to return to the Accounts List View.
Owner
The Owner column displays the User assigned to an Account.

Accounts Slide out Panel
Clicking on the empty space of the Name row opens the respective Account slideout panel where you can preview the Account details without leaving the page. The side panels enable you to view most of the relevant details directly from the list view so you can glance through a list of your Accounts more easily.
Side Panel Tabs
Tabs available in the side panel are:
- Overview
- Account plan
- Activity
- Prospects
The Prospects and Activity tabs are the same as the ones accessible in the Account detail page. You can also view the same layouts on the Account plan tab as you do on the Account detail page.
The Overview tab includes information such as:
- Account details (with the option to view all field values for the account)
- A summary section (with the 10K summary and Key Takeaways tab)
- The engagement activity timeline
- The account opportunities and next meeting
- Your latest Kaia recordings
- The next tasks for that account
Smart Account Assist Q&A Chat
Users can access Smart Account Assist to ask questions on the prospect or the account, using reference from previous conversations (up to the most recent 80 emails and 10 calls/ meetings).
Note: If there are no previous conversations associated with the account, the Assist Chat is disabled.
