How to Reconnect and Remove mailboxes & Calendars

Purpose:

The purpose of this article is to provide information and direction to Outreach Users and Admins regarding reconnecting calendars and mailboxes.

Intended Audience:

• Outreach Admins
• Outreach Users

Disconnected Mailboxes and Calendars:

Issue:

Outreach User calendars and mailboxes have been disconnected. 

Description:

Outreach Users may receive an in-app notification indicating mailboxes or calendars have been disconnected without User or Admin action.

Solution:

Outreach recommends reconnecting the Organization’s/User’s calendar and inbox as outlined in the steps below:

To Reconnect Your Mailbox:

1. Access the Outreach Platform.
2. Click the User’s initials (avatar) in the bottom left corner of the navigation sidebar, then click on Personal Settings. 
3. Click on the mailbox you need to reconnect. 
4. Complete the steps as outlined in the How To Connect a Primary Email to Outreach article.

To Remove Your Mailbox:

Follow the steps in this article How to Add Delete or Change an Outreach mailbox

To Select Your Default Mailbox:

In the Mailboxes section and next to the mailbox, click on the ... menu, then select Set As Default.  

The Default mailbox will have the word Default next to it's email address. 

To Reconnect Your Calendar:

1. Access the Outreach Platform.
2. Click the User’s initials (avatar) in the bottom left corner of the navigation sidebar, then click on Personal Settings. 
3. Under Meetings, click on Calendar Setup. 
4. Click the ... next to the calendar, then click on Reconnect. 

To Remove Your Calendar:

1. Access the Outreach Platform.
2. Click the User’s initials (avatar) in the bottom left corner of the navigation sidebar, then click on Personal Settings. 
3. Under Meetings, click on Calendar Setup. 
4. Click the ... next to the calendar, then click on Remove Calendar. 

Resuming Failed Email Messages: 

1. Access the Outreach Platform.
2. Click the Outbox icon (paper plane) in the navigation sidebar.
3. Search, sort and filter and click to select the applicable failed emails.
4. Click on the ... menu, then select Retry.
5. Click Retry Email to confirm and retry failed email messages.
