Why are CRM import conditions ignored when importing with the Outreach Everywhere Extension?

Symptom

When importing records (prospects, accounts, opportunities) using the Outreach everywhere extension some or all records are imported that do not meet the create conditions set up in the Outreach CRM integration.

Resolution

Enable / Check the "Follow CRM create and update rules, and conditions when importing prospects, accounts or opportunities." setting.

To reach this setting navigate to "Administration", expand the "Organization" dropdown menu and select "Org Info". Make sure you are on the "General" tab and look for the heading "Outreach Everywhere Chrome extension".

Check the setting "Follow CRM create and update rules, and conditions when importing prospects, accounts or opportunities." and don't forget to hit save!

This issue is caused by the "Follow CRM create and update rules, and conditions when importing prospects, accounts or opportunities." setting being unchecked in under the Administration, Org Info settings.
