How To Apply Personas to Prospects

Objective

The purpose of this article is to provide direction to Outreach Users in applying previously created personas to Prospects. 

Personas are a way to classify Prospects based on similar attributes to help improve dialog and communication.

Before You Begin

  • A persona must be created to apply to a Prospect. Before completing this process, ensure your Outreach admins have created a Persona(s).
  • Applying a Persona to a Prospects makes the Persona a searchable and filterable data point in the Prospect landing page. For more information on searching and filtering Prospects, refer to How to Apply Filters to Prospects

Procedure

  1. Access the Outreach Platform.
  2. In the left navigation sidebar, click Prospects.
    Note: By default, Your prospects are shown. Optionally adjust as needed.
  3. Check the boxes to select the applicable Prospects. 
  4. Above the Prospects list, click Edit > Persona
  5. Select the applicable Persona to apply.
  6. Click Save.

Once the Persona has been applied to the selected Prospects, it can be used to filter and group them.
