When the Salesforce plugin is initially created, Outreach will automatically pulls Salesforce users into Outreach. This creates a mapping between Outreach seats and Salesforce seats, which is important for bringing in leads, contacts, and accounts.
This does not mean active Outreach seats are automatically created for every Salesforce user. If the Salesforce seat does not yet exist in Outreach, a locked Outreach seat will be created to allow the import of leads, contacts, and accounts owned by the individual.
Outreach has a setting that allows you to control whether Outreach automatically syncs Salesforce users into Outreach when the Salesforce plugin is reconnected. If the toggle is disabled we will not sync Salesforce users into Outreach when the plugin is reconnected. If the toggle is enabled we will sync Salesforce users into Outreach upon plugin reconnection.
You can find the status of this setting in the Salesforce plugin.
- Click on the initials found on the bottom left hand corner of the Outreach platform.
- On the settings panel that appears, find the section labeled "system config" and select "plugins". Click into the Salesforce plugin.
- On the top of the page, select "settings".
- Enable or disable the toggle as desired
