Updates

Admins can now define products to be tracked in Outreach including their organizations own products, competitor products, and complementary products. Sellers can track this data at the account level, which can be used to build whitespace or target account lists for specific products, or to trigger timely actions related to renewals, expiring competitor contracts, and more. Retention and Expansion Sequence Blueprints

Quickly create new sequences to onboard customers, manage detractors, and expand accounts.

Summary

Deploy pre-configured sequences for account management, expansion, and retention workflows including onboarding, customer training, NPS detractor management, and expansion.

Time-based Triggers

Ensure the right actions take place at the right time.

Summary

Trigger tasks based on specific dates such as an upcoming renewal, account check-in, or in relation to marketing communications and events.

Updates

Triggers in Outreach can be used to create automation based on a known date field. For example, automating an onboarding sequence to start 'n' days after an opportunity is closed, reminding AEs to schedule account health checks, or prompting the beginning of renewal discussions.

Team Queue and Round Robin Task Assignment

Assign actions to a team using triggers to ensure timely follow-up and completion of tasks.

Summary

Assign tasks to a team instead of an individual; tasks are assigned to a team member in a round-robin fashion to ensure they don't get missed.

Updates

Triggers can now be used to assign a task to a team, for example, a CSM team that supports a common pool of customers. If an event occurs meeting the defined criteria, the task is assigned to a member of that team in round-robin fashion.

Additional Fields for "Meet in Person" Tasks

Ensure outcomes are reported accurately with new fields for 'meet in person' tasks

Summary

The addition of the 'disposition and 'purpose' fields to "meet in person" tasks enables field sales reps to track the purpose and outcome of in-person meetings.

Updates

Field reps can now log a "meet in person" task manually, capturing disposition, purpose, and notes without creating a retroactive calendar or task entry. The disposition and purpose fields will feature drop-down menus for selection, with values customizable by the administrator.


 

Sequence Engagement Score: Kaia Signal

Gain deeper insight into call success as part of active sequences with access to Kaia transcripts.

Summary

Within the Sequence Engagement Score, the availability of a Kaia transcript is now used to determine if a call was successful.

Outlook Add-In 3.0

Ensure improved performance, reliability, and ease of use.

Summary

To provide a more seamless and reliable Outlook experience, we've rebuilt our Outlook Add-in from the ground up. Our legacy Outlook Add-in will be deprecated on October 1st. To continue using the Outreach Outlook Add-in, we suggest that Admins install our newest Add-in.

Updates

With the new Outlook Add-in, users can use templates, snippets, reminders, and sync all email activities between Outreach and CRM.

The new Outlook Add-In is available for download in the Microsoft AppSource Marketplace. We recommend that Outreach Admins perform the installation via the Microsoft Admin Center. If your organization is currently using an older version of the Outlook Add-In, it must be uninstalled before installing the new one.

Please note that our Legacy Outlook Add-in is being deprecated on October 1st. To continue using our Outlook Add-In, please install our new Outreach Outlook Add-inTo learn more details, see the support article.

Meeting Reminders

Reduce the no-show rate for your meetings by automating a reminder email before the scheduled meeting. 

Summary

Meeting reminders are sent to all external attendees who have accepted or tentatively accepted the meeting, or have not yet responded.

Updates

Meeting reminders are configured at the Meeting Type level by Outreach Admins. If meetings are rescheduled or canceled, the reminders adjust accordingly, reducing the need for manual intervention. To learn more details, see the support article.

Summary

Simplify creating, updating, and managing your Prospect Relationship Map using drag and drop functionality. Drag a prospect from the side panel onto the board, or drop it over an existing prospect card to establish relationships or influences.

Draft an email call follow-up based on the call summary generated by Smart Call Assist.

With Smart Email Assist Call Follow-up, you can quickly build an email within 10 seconds that captures the call context, summary, and next steps, helping you maintain momentum in the deal. Google Authentication Updates for Mailbox & Calendar

Ensure your organization's compliance with new mailbox and calendar updates from Google. 

Summary

Google has introduced additional authentication safety measures that prevent third-party apps from authenticating using just a username and password. All user’s mailboxes authenticated via username and password in Outreach need to be reconnected using the Gmail API before September 30.

There is an important update from Google that might affect your user’s mailbox and calendar integration with Outreach. 

If your user’s mailboxes are authenticated via username and password, they need to be reconnected using the Gmail API before September 30.

The change can be done in Personal Settings > Mailboxes.

Sequence Performance Report Enhancements

Easily understand sequence performance with enhancements to the user experience.

Summary 

Boost user engagement, and deliver better business outcomes by utilizing sequence reporting. New enhancements provide improved user experiences to help monitor sequence performance as well as remove visual clutter from the UI.

The Sequence Performance Report has an improved UI to help you easily understand your sequence performance metrics. These enhancements include removing N/A's from the popups and presenting only the information available for that sequence. Summary

Kaia uses AI to streamline coaching by identifying answers to any question on a Coach Card, with deep links to moments so managers can review the relevant parts of the conversation and coach more effectively.

The AI suggestions can be toggled on or off each time, giving managers more flexibility in coaching. Managers can also request feedback for a call and notify reps when coaching has occurred.

New App Permissions Model for Microsoft Teams

Support your organization where Microsoft 365 admins require apps to have user-level permissions only.

Summary

For customers with elevated security needs, we are providing an additional deployment option for Kaia with Microsoft Teams. This deployment method is recommended if user-level permissions are required or to use explicit consent policies for recording in Teams for compliance.

Set up Kaia™ for post-meeting analysis for meetings recorded in Microsoft Teams.

Summary

Leverage explicit consent inside Microsoft Teams to ensure every person joining a meeting will have actively granted consent to be recorded and their consent is captured in Teams for your business audit purposes.

Summary

Admins will be able to define which currencies are supported and the associated conversion rates to any of their forecasts.

Cross-Instance Login

Login to multiple Outreach instances with a single email address. 

Summary

Admins can now login with a single email address, authenticated via password or single-sign-on with an external Identity Provider, and then select the instance they intend to access.

Account Teams

Execute on your team selling motions.

Summary

Appropriate access permissions of the Account Team members and their team roles are brought forward and applied automatically to the record. Additionally, the Account Team members are also given appropriate access to features as defined in the Default Profile.

Outreach Admins can leverage additional data types and validations to configure the Custom Fields of the Opportunity object in Outreach.

Upcoming changes to the Audit Log API

Summary

To help customers better meet auditing and compliance requirements for their business, Outreach launched a new set of Audit Log APIs with more events. As part of this launch, the current Audit Log within Outreach APIs will be deprecated in September 2024.
