"Import to Outreach" button is missing in Salesforce

Symptom

The "Import to Outreach" button is missing in Salesforce.

Before You Begin

  • Modifying the Salesforce page layout may require assistance from your Salesforce Admin.

Resolution

  1. Review the URL in your browser and confirm whether /cmp/ appears in the path.
  2. If /cmp/ is present in the URL, Outreach does not support .../cmp/... paths in Salesforce URLs. Only Related views on default Salesforce URLs (containing .../related/...) are supported.
  3. Ask your Salesforce Admin to navigate to the standard Salesforce record view (without /cmp/ in the path) and confirm the Import to Outreach button appears as expected.

Cause

The Import to Outreach button only renders on supported Salesforce URL paths. Salesforce Lightning introduced /cmp/ paths for certain views, which are not compatible with Outreach's embedded button. Outreach exclusively supports default Related views using .../related/... in the URL structure.
