Emails with a gray dot indicate the person is not yet a Prospect in Outreach.
Emails with a purple dot indicate the person is a Prospect in Outreach.

A: Yes. With the Associate Email Activity enabled, Users can select an opportunity to associate with an email to ensure clear and accurate visibility into the progress and history of an opportunity.

Q: Can I add Prospects to a Sequence from Gmail?
A: Yes, Outreach provides users with the opportunity to add a Prospect to a Sequence directly from the email.
Once the action has been added to the Sequence, a red dot appears over the Sequence icon (paper plane) in the email to indicate the Prospect has been added to the Sequence.
Q: What happens if one of the recipients on the email responds?
A: Outreach's default setting is to detect the reply and stop the Sequence. Users can configure these settings to do otherwise. For more information regarding sequences, refer to the Sequence articles in the Outreach knowledge base.
Q: Can I add one of my colleagues as a CC on my email and have them stay on CC through a Sequence?
A: Yes, as long as the recipients are not blocked by your Org domain exclusions. For more information regarding blocked domains, contact your Outreach Admin as applicable.

A: Once a Template or Snippet has been created in Outreach, they are available for use in Gmail. Compose a new email and click the Template or Snippet icon accordingly to add content.

A: Yes. Users can add reminders and create tasks within an email to process at a specified date and time.

Q: Can reminders be configured for automation?
A: Yes, users can configure reminders via email settings (gear icon) to automatically perform an action, such as bumping an email, after the user-defined conditions are met.
Q: Which emails are included in automatic reminders?
A: Automatic reminders are only for external emails. As long as the recipients are not blocked by your Org domain exclusions, you will need to set a reminder.
Q: Can I remove or edit a reminder?
A: Yes. To remove a reminder, click the trash icon to the right of the reminder. To edit a reminder, click the pencil icon to the right of the reminder.
Q: How do I set a note on a bump or task reminder?
A: Notes are included when a reminder is set.
Q: Where does the note display?
A: On a bump the note will be included in your Outreach bump reminder email. For task reminders, the note will be available in the notes task section.
Q: How do I avoid notes being accidentally sent to Prospects?
A: Outreach sends bump reminders to your inbox with the note included in the body of the message. These reminders are separate from your communication with the Prospect.
Q: How do I schedule meetings or let Prospects know when I am available?
A: Outreach Everywhere makes scheduling meetings and providing availability simple.
Q: My version of Outreach appears to have different features than what is illustrated in this article, is something wrong?
A: No. Outreach is in the process of enhancing the Outreach Everywhere Chrome extension to provide more streamlined efficiency to your workflows. If your view is different, you may be on an older version of the extension. Simply uninstall and reinstall the extension to experience the latest features.
Q: Can I delay or schedule when an email sends?
A: Yes. After finalizing your draft email, click the clock icon next to the Send with Outreach button to open a scheduler.
